Volaris to launch international cargo service

Mexican low-cost carrier Volaris (Y4) will launch cargo services on its
international network later this year, starting with flights to/from
Los Angeles, Calif.
The airline, which currently provides belly cargo service only, is the second largest domestic cargo carrier in Mexico. In the first half, Y4 had a 29.6% market share and carried 7,500 tonnes, up 11% year-over-year. By the end of the year, the carrier expects its cargo side to grow 12% and profits to increase 30% over last year.
